Whiskey Girl
Red Female from Ginger and Jack
Owned by: Robert Rodel
Whiskey is a big girl I did not weigh her this time, but I'm sure she is around 70 lbs. She is very quick and showing
signs that she will be a very powerful dog. I believe the papers reads "Bryants Whiskey Girl" for both ADBA and UKC.
She is pretty impressive.
Whiskey's been kind of wary of strangers, well not all strangers. She pics and chooses. She welcomed my friend from
Iowa with so much enthusiasum that I was afraid she was going to go home with him. Then a police officer dropped by,
looking for the previous owners, and she walked up behind him and licked his hands, but the contractors who are
fixing the barn and the fuel guy she just hates!!!!!! We had socialised her alot with other dogs, but she was a bit
protected from meeting a lot of new people. We are working on it though and she is showing good signs of improvement.
She is a real sweet dog to us and very loving, even on walks she stays within 50 feet. When she starts to go on to
the neighbor's property when out back, I just say "No Whiskey not ours come on" and she come on right along.

Here's a pic of the dog @ 8 months. We named him Winston. Keep up the good work raising real pitbulls because many are ruining the breed with "bullies" that are not purebred.

Francis Bailey
Female from Ginger and Jack
Owned by: Jeannettelena Santilian
I just wanted to give you an update on Frances and give you some possible pics you could use on the internet.
As you can see, she is turning out wonderful. I can still do anything I wish to my big baby (including hugging her
or even giving her a kiss on her forehead while eating). She will even give up her toys when told she must. When
I feed her I can tell her to stay seated and she will stay that way while I pour her food into the bowl. I will
then push the bowl toward her and say okay and then she will begin to eat. How does she love to chew! I spent
too much on rawhide so I switched to "Nylabones" and they have become my best friend. ;) Bullysticks are also a
favorite.
Overall she is a joy to have. I cannot say enough about how much I adore her. She will accept people I invite into
my home but does not like anyone else. As far as animals go, she loves my little pug and loves to roughhouse with
my boxer. It is amazing how accepting she is of them yet turns on the heat if there are any others around.
As far as love goes, she loves kisses. Oh goodness, I must also not forget how she loves to be cradled while
sleeping. Sometimes I will sit next to her while she is sleeping and when I hug her she will place her head
in the crook of my arm. If she knows both my husband and I are home and she cannot see one of us, she will cry.
If it is him that is missing and she figures out he is outside, she will position herself to where she can look
outside of our french doors. This way she can still hear and see me but still keep an eye on him. Training is
easy ... as long as I have the treats lol.

Waylon
Male from Ginger and Jack
Owned by: Sam Leggett
I was just going to shoot you guys an email to give you an update on him since his 1 year birthday is coming up at
the end of the month. Waylon was the last puppy left from Jack and Ginger's first litter, and was the runt.
Waylon isn't a runt anymore! He is every bit of 65 lbs. Waylon plays HARD! He loves chasing
tennis balls or anything else that moves, but his absolute favorite thing is a laser pointer... he goes absolutely
insane over that thing! Waylon is spoiled rotten and lives in the house with us constantly, but he does go play
outside everyday when the weather permits. He is very obedient and is starting to get protective of the house,
which I like.
I was so happy that the Vet gave him a clean bill of health, and that he was actually very impressed with Waylon.
I have finally found a vet that loves animals and doesn't seem to like any one animal better than the other.
He doesn't seem to buy into the whole stereotype thing, and has been very accepting of Waylon as well as my pit
that I had before Waylon. I wanted to share one funny thing that happened while we were at the vet's office.
We had finished with the appointment and went back into the lobby to pay the bill, and there was an old couple
sitting there with their little lap dogs running around. When we walked out of the exam room the old woman gasped
and said "What a beautiful dog!" The old man then said, "What's the breed?" I knew it was about to get awkward,
but I just smiled and said, "He's a pit bull." They didn't say another word, but I did notice that they gathered
up their little lap dogs and held them the rest of the time. After a few moments of awkward silence another lady
who was standing at the counter paying her bill said, "Well he's still a beautiful dog."
I thanked her for the compliment and continued sitting there with Waylon beside me behaving like a perfect gentleman.
I was a little offended at first, but I think (or at least hope) that Waylon kind of impressed them too.
